QashMarket Seller Guidelines

Effective Date: 9 November 2025

These Guidelines form part of the QashMarket Terms of Service and align with Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transaction) Regulations 2024 (CPETTR 2024). Sellers are independent micro-entrepreneurs and are responsible for their own legal compliance.

1. Seller Eligibility and Account

QashMarket empowers peniaga Pasar Malam/Pasar Tani, farmers, fishermen, ibu tunggal, roadside stalls, and students.

1.1 Account Verification

Provide accurate personal data (email, phone, address). Follow the registration flow as described in the Terms of Service.

2. Mandatory Information Disclosure (CPETTR 2024)

Clearly display the following on your store and/or listings:

All mandatory disclosures must be provided in Bahasa Malaysia in addition to any other language.

3. Product Listing and Safety

3.1 Prohibited Items

No illegal items, counterfeit goods, stolen property, weapons, obscene material, or content promoting hate/violence/discrimination.

Comply with the Food Act 1983 and related regulations:

Buyers pay sellers directly via third-party methods (e.g., Touch ’n Go eWallet).

Resolve issues directly with buyers. QashMarket may take platform actions (e.g., suspend accounts) but does not arbitrate payments.

Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be used for PhD research. Personal identity and non-public business details will not be disclosed without explicit consent.
